Dear colleagues and friends, we have the pleasure to announce that the Institute for Historical Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences organizes within the framework of the National Scientific Program “Development and Promotion of the Bulgarian Studies Abroad” a Seminar entitled “Topical Issues of Bulgarian History and Historiography”. On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the fourth public lecture of the Seminar was presented by Chief Assist. Prof. Dr Dzheni Ivanova on
“The War Through the Eyes of an Orthodox Priest:
Observations on the Marginal Note of Priest Petar from the Village of Mirkovo, Late 17th Century”.
The event was held in a hybrid format – in the meeting room of the Institute for Historical Research at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences,
and virtually via Zoom platform.
